Wedding invitation samples

I love being asked to create my stationery in colours I've not used for that design before. And today I've sent off three samples to three brides all requesting the same design in a different colour, and I think they all look perfect. Each of the colours were selected from my colour palette below, which other colour do you think would look great with this design?

Duck egg
Plum
Teal

Meet the maker on Frankly

I've been featured in Frankly magazine over on Folksy. For a little bit of an insight into gooseberrymoon you can read the interview here.

A double bonus is that I'm also featured seller on the homepage of Folksy!

Discover Flintshire

Yesterday evening I attended a lovely get-together at Discover Flintshire Visitor Centre in my home town of Mold, North Wales. The Visitor Centre has recently re-opened after a refurbishment, and it looks fantastic. As well as being an information centre they stock products from local designers and my notecards just happen to be stocked there!
The light, bright display units really show everything off to their full loveliness
I was lucky enough to meet fellow Folksy sellers Jen and Steve from Loglike whose products looked fantastic as you can see below.
My notecards sit proudly alongside greetings cards from many talented designers including another Folksy seller, Ello Design, and local letterpress printers, Blush Publishing. I'm so glad I met the ladies from Blush as I'm seriously considering having some of my wedding stationery available as letterpress!
Some of my favourite pieces on display are these white homeware ceramics by Jenny Murray.

Sleepy owl Christening invitations

I've been working on a custom order for some Christening invitations. This order was particularly special as Susan and Lee, the proud parents, were my second bride and groom that I created stationery for and I'm beyond thrilled that they came back for more!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone. I'm a bit late I know but it takes me so long to get back to normal after the Christmas holidays; getting back into the daily routine of getting the children to school, work, taking the decs down, getting the house back to some kind of normality (although there is still a pile of toys sitting behind me that need homes - I just won't turn around). Although I've had no choice but to get straight back to it with a few custom orders to complete which I'll share in the next few weeks along with some of the work I did last year that I've been so bad at posting here.

We were lucky enough to spend our new year break with friends in beautiful Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. I've just been sorting through the photos and thought I'd share some so you can see how gorgeous it is there even in the bleak winter months.
